Derrick Anderson turned to the Democrats for a huge payday before running for Congress, receiving nearly half a million dollars from one of the most progressive law firms in the country.
This law firm advertises itself as the law firm to the radical Democratic “Superstars.”
Among their clients: Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Raphael Warnock, Eric Holder, Democratic National Committee, Rod Blagojevich, Tom Daschle, and many others. Elena Kagan is a former lawyer at Williams and Connolly.
Williams and Connolly has been at the forefront of radical Democrat corruption over the years, defending the "Clinton Crime Family" on numerous occasions
They defended Bill Clinton in the Whitewater investigation and during his impeachment, they defended Hillary Clinton over herand during the Benghazi investigation.

Lying About Living in the District
Just before running for Congress, Derrick bought a nearly million dollar home in the country club neighborhood of Belle Haven, inside the DC beltway, with a VA Home Loan that requires that home to be your primary residence. Just days later he registered to vote two hours away inside the 7th District and has been voting there ever since. Both things can’t be true: Derrick Anderson is either committing voter fraud or he is defrauding the VA for a benefit he doesn’t deserve.

DC Bar Association Inquiry into misconduct
Following a news article highlighting an inconsistency between DC Derrick’s Veteran Affairs loan (which came with a one-year residency requirement) and his voter registration changing from that home in Alexandria to Virginia’s 7th District just weeks later, DC Derrick is subject to an ethics complaint submitted to the DC Bar Association alleging that these actions violated Rule 8.4 para C of the DC Bar’s Rules of Professional Conduct, which prohibit a lawyer from engaging in “conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation.” The complaint alleges that, as indicated by the reporting, DC Derrick engaged in either mortgage fraud or voter fraud. This ethics enquiry is ongoing.
